During the COVID-19 pandemic, my favorite events got canceled. My hopes and dreams of attending the major event, Coachella, were diminished and I found myself cooped up in my room. While creating playlists on Spotify I asked myself, “What would my Coachella artist lineup be?” and then the idea of Mychella sparked.
Mychella is a project that explores my idea of a music festival. I curated my list of artists that I would have loved to see in concert. I also designed visual assets to support the advertising and promotion of this event. Photos of each artist were edited and included and typography treatments were used to create a playful, energetic, and compelling poster series.
